Mrs. German, Brian, Karen and family,

Your memorial to Judy was just beautiful and I was very touched to be included by name and picture. Our "Get Together" ISU group has been so special for 46 years and your Mom was so very special to us.

Judy's family- Mom and Karen and Brian- I am so sorry that this world is missing our Jiudy. We can be assured she is in heaven and enjoying her time with her GOD. I will always remembered how she could remember your intersts and always took her time to listen as you rattle on about them. She has a true heart for God and is an inspiration for us as we journey this life. IT is a honor to call her friend. WIth lovePam and Jim Garner

Dear Jean and Family members and friends of Judy,

Joy and I were gone to Michigan to visit our Amy's family. Yesterday, we were in Kewanee to visit Joy's sister who told us of the death of Judy. We were stunned to find that kind of news. The years have flown by and we have all gotten older but with fond memories of the days that have passed and the "Judys" that we  have met and spent a good time with during this journey called life.

She was a good person and will be missed by those she touched in her church family, her children and grand children and her college friends who managed to keep up a long and loving relationship.

Travel on Judy and may the trip be as good as those who believe it to be.

Marilyn/Jack Stevems Sending our prayers August 8, 2011
Judy has answered God's calling. I hadn't kept in contact with Judy and was just recently wondering if she had retired from teaching only to read the newspaper Sunday. We officially met at ISU. I'm from Geneseo and knew of German's Implement dealership. It was great putting a face with the location! We shared first sons: Brian & our Scott who I believe later met each other at ICC during a Science Fair. We were also in prayer for Karen's arrival and were asked to have our name if needed for references. We shared young family times/pictures with Joy Gamble Todd and her husband Bill now I believe near Cambridge. They would visit us "on the farm-Trivoli". It was good to see the pictures of Judy's wonderful family. With our sympathy and God bless you, Marilyn & Jack Stevens
Melanie Miller Until We Meet Again! August 8, 2011
Judy was an inspiration to me.  I worked with her in the After Care Program and share alot of good times together.  She always had a smile for me and a shoulder to cry on when I needed on.  I consider her to be one of my dearest friends.

Judy's light will always shine brightly.  Even though we weren't ready to let her go, God has a plan for her beautiful soul.  She was truly one of a kind.

I am sorry that I can't be there in person, but I am there in spirit.

Judy you have a special place in my heart and always will.

Until we meet again my friend!  This is not goodbye, but, I'll see you later.

Thank you for making my life all the more richer by simply being you and being a truly wonderful person.  I am so glad that we crossed paths.

Mel
Donna Jeffers PW friend August 8, 2011
Judy and I served in Presbyterian Women in the Presbytery for many years.  We drove many miles together, sharing the trials and tribulations of raising teenagers and later the joys of grandmothering.  I had not seen her for a couple years and no longer had a phone number so had lost contact.  I was greatly shocked to read her obituary this morning as her funeral was being held.  I have wonderful memories of our experiences together and the laugher we shared. I know how much joy she had in her children, grandchildren and the children she worked with at After Care.  She was a loving daughter and sister and a good friend.
Rest in Peace.

Elaine Sokolowski sincerest condolences August 8, 2011
I was so sorry to  learn of Judy's passing.  She was our volunteer director when I taught at Arcadia Preschool for many years and I always remember her as dedicated and caring, not just with her work but, with family and friends.  Sincerest sympathy to Karen and Brian.  I know that you and your families were her great joy!
